New Addition

I love how having a baby makes you realize how wonderful it is to have a family and to be loved and to be able to love.  It is a nice way to re-evaluate life and prioritize.  I love my children and watching them learn and grow is an awesome thing.  Our new little Nicalee is just too cute and sweet for words-- and it is a good thing that Clint is about the best dad in the world.

Tea Time

Madalyn has decided that playing Tea Party is one of her favorite things to do and she asked me if I had any fun tea cups like Grandma Nordahl.  I told her my grandmother gave me some, but they are very old and can break easily-- but why have them if they can't be used-- so I got them out and Carver and Madalyn started their party.  A few minutes later Carver said to me, "mom, we would be simply delighted if you would join our tea party"  in as proper a voice as he could muster and I just cracked up-- any boy who is delighted deserves applause.

   I have gone to Carver's class a few times in the last month to watch everything they are doing and it has been so fun to see them all learn how to do the dances and the songs-- but when it comes down to it, the girls are much more excited to perform and do actions than any of the boys.  

Boondocks

We have had a great May with Grandma's birthday, Mother's Day, and Kindergarten shot day-- ok the last one wasn't so great, but we did take Carver and Madalyn to Boondocks for being so good at the Doctor and getting shots and all that stuff.  We had never been there so we didn't even know what was there-- and we happened to be just about the only people there when we went so they practically let us run the place.  It was very fun.  Now we just have to wait about 5 more days for Nicalee to join us.  Hooray.
